Find what others miss, before it surprises you.
For more than twenty years, my work has come down to one question: what is really under the ground? I have built reservoir models for deepwater fields in West Africa, for a new shale play in Saudi Arabia and for major transactions in the United States. Again and again, the biggest risk was the thing the existing model left out.
I started Black Swan Energy Services to give operators, developers and investors senior expertise without a full-time hire: a defined scope, a clear deliverable and an honest recommendation, including a clear no when the subsurface says no.
Today we bring that same discipline to geothermal, mining and the idle wells that may still have a second life. If you are facing a decision about the subsurface, I would like to hear about it.
