Senior expertise when it matters
Integration work peaks at key moments: a new field, a development plan, a deal. You pay for that expertise during the weeks it counts, not all year.
About
Black Swan Energy Services is a geoscience consulting firm based in Norman, Oklahoma. We help operators, developers and investors see the subsurface clearly enough to act on it.
Most subsurface teams hold more data than their models use: seismic, well logs, core, cuttings, geochemistry, production history. These datasets live in separate disciplines and separate software, so the reservoir model often reflects only part of what is known. The same gap exists in geothermal and mining, where teams borrow oil and gas tools but rarely have the people who can bring every dataset into one consistent 3D picture.
BSES closes that gap. We integrate all available data into reservoir and resource models that hold together, quantify uncertainty, and can be trusted for decisions.
Integration work peaks at key moments: a new field, a development plan, a deal. You pay for that expertise during the weeks it counts, not all year.
No recruiting, onboarding or learning curve. Twenty years of models across deepwater, unconventional, tight gas and geothermal settings.
Lessons from different operators, countries and resource types, a breadth an in-house role rarely builds.
An outside model is free from internal assumptions, which helps most when teams or partners disagree.
No salary, benefits or long-term commitment. A defined scope, a clear deliverable and a known price.
Every project ends with a handover and training, so the model keeps working after we leave.

Eva is a senior development geologist and 3D geomodeler with more than 20 years of international experience across deepwater, unconventional and tight-gas assets. She has built reservoir models that guided field development in West Africa, opened a new resource type in Saudi Arabia, and supported major transactions in the United States.
She holds an M.Sc. from ENSPM/IFP School and a DEA from Université Joseph Fourier, and is pursuing a PhD at the University of Texas at Dallas on sediment provenance using Bayesian mixing models. She works in English, French and Albanian.
Rare, high-impact events shape every energy project. Our work is to find what others miss in the subsurface, before it surprises you.
